The SMRT®  hybrid connection design solution permits the use of differing steel forms within a portal frame structure, allowing considerable cost savings whilst ensuring structural integrity in maintained.  SMRT® hybrid connection design solution allows a fabricated [hot rolled] steel column connected to a partially fabricated rafter to then transition and connect to ‘cold’ form steel, for the greatest length of the rafter, which vastly reduces the volume of costly fabricated [hot rolled] steel used.

Only the SMRT® hybrid connection design solution ensures engineering and structural integrity is conserved, when using this build model.
