XXL CONSTRUCTIONS designed and constructed a bespoke fit-for-pupose workshop with office, on a sloping block to fully cater to the owners business needs.

As the principal builder for this project XXL Constructions custom designed and constructed a full turn-key workshop and office structure, for this successful mechanical and vehicle transport business located on the south side of Brisbane. Due to the consistent growth of the business a larger and more functional premises was required. Demolition of the original premises occurred, and XXL was able to design and construct a purpose built facility to better meet this evolving business’s needs. The new premises is a modern, functional, and robust facility that supports improved operational efficiency and allows for further expansion as the business continues to grow. 

The single point-of-contact, concept to completion, build management solution provided by XXL involved the production by XXL of a design concept drawing, steel detailing drawings, structural drawings, engineering compliance and approval, construction drawings, council regulation compliance, materials and trade procurement and build management of the site preparation, the foundation works, the slab laying, the stormwater management install, the drainage pit install, the water tank install, the retainer wall install, the structural steel frame, roofing and cladding install, the car park-crossover-driveway install, the foil insulation, the mezzanine floor install, the internal fit out works, the staircase install, the fire safety fixture install, and the occupancy certification.
