XXL CONSTRUCTIONS designed, engineered, and supplied a custom-fit manufacturing warehouse for Woree, Cairns, boat builder Hooker Boats.

XXL CONSTRUCTIONS designed, engineered, and supplied this fully enclosed portal frame structure to house Hooker Boats fabrication and manufacturing space. The entire factory, including the internal partitioning, was built in cold-form steel to meet cyclone compliance requirements.

XXL CONSTRUCTIONS’ single point-of-contact design, engineering, and supply solution involved the production of steel detailing drawings, structural drawings, engineering compliance and approval, construction drawings, and the materials procurement for this build. Multiple design consultations, with our client, determined the exact requirements needed to deliver an efficient and effective manufacturing process, which defined the design parameters assuring the facility’s design was fit-for-purpose.
